Slide arrow left and right to view the before and after transformation.
BEFORE: Column in the middle of classroom compromised the activity area layout and created blind spots, making it difficult for teachers to supervise. AFTER: The column was removed and structural support added to open up classroom and viewing area, significantly increasing the play space and supporting teacher’s active supervision of children. Installation of adult and child sinks in the classroom supports frequent handwashing and children’s independent use.
AFTER: Classroom sculpted into learning centers/functional areas, supporting individual, small group, large group and flexible activity options.
